By diverting objects of everyday life and fashion accessories, fragments belonging to the haute couture, or to the history of art, Kimiko’s “Paintings” series transform the works of Tiepolo, Watteau, Fragonard, Boucher, Rubens, Rembrandt, Picasso, Matisse, Gauguin, and Delacroix.
