<p style="text-align: left;">The publication came about after the photographer was nominated for the Santa Fe Prize for Photography in 2009. As a nominee, Lynch was also invited to participate in Review Santa Fe, where she met acquisitions editor and Radius Books co-founder Darius Himes.</p>

<p>Fine-art photographer <a href="http://www.sabarnett.com">Susan Barnett</a> took to the streets of New York City recently to ask over 900 people to pose and have the back of their t-shirts photographed. Above is a sampling of some of the most interesting ones she encountered. Says Barnett: &#8220;My success rate has been almost 100 percent but sometimes I am given short shrift. One t-shirt read &#8216;A t-shirt can change the world!&#8217; I really liked that one but ironically that fellow refused to stop!&#8221; Barnett used her 49-year-old Leicaflex SL2 camera with 35mm Ektar and Portra Vivid Color film to get the shots.</p>

Most of the photographs were made while I was traveling on commercial assignments around the world and just happened serendipitously,&#8221; says Kawalerski, an advertising and corporate photographer.  (An exhibit of images from an extended body of this work will be held at Calumet in New York City from October 19-29, 2009. In early November, the show moves to The Union League Cafe in New Haven, Connecticut.)</p>

It was great to see people walking out to their cars and looking up to see these bikes 50 feet in the air. I knew the riders would be doing a range of tricks and I caught a bit of the action. This particular one is a variation of the classic &#8217;super-man-seat-grab.&#8217; &#8220;</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">Hanlon used a Canon 1d Mark II and a fast shutter speed. He did some post production in Photoshop on the color balance.</p>
