Benjamin Heller, a New York City based commercial and fine art photographer, created this image in West Texas. It is from his series of self-portrait images taken with Type 55 Polaroid film while traveling in search of spaces that inspire intimate performance for the camera.  This photograph, along with two others, will be on view as part of the “Moment of Recognition” show of new portraiture, curated by Amy Arbus, at the International Center of Photography, NYC until March 20th.
